4th Meeting of the Northern-European NeuroEndocrine Group (NENEG)
Neuro-endocrine regulation of body composition

Amsterdam, the Netherlands NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky October 6 - 7, 2011
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to welcome you to the 4th meeting of the Northern-European Neuro-Endocrine Group (NENEG), a forum for bringing together neuro-endocrinologists from Northern Europe.
The objective of the meeting is to build networks across countries, to facilitate clinical and scientific collaborations and to share experiences among fellow KIMS and/or Acrostudy investigators.
The previous meetings were all successful because the format provides ample opportunities for young people in training to discuss current issues in neuro-endocrinology with experienced clinicians and researchers. This meeting will be held in Amsterdam on October 6 and 7, 2011 at the NH Grand Hotel Krasna pol sky.
Hotel Krasnapolsky takes its name from its first owner. The hotel was established in 1866 by a Polish tailor, Adolf Wilhelm Krasnapolski, who arrived in the Netherlands only ten years earlier. Krasnapolski first opened a popular cafe, often called the Polish Cafe, and added rooms for rent, and later rebuilding it into a modern hotel. It was the first hotel in Amsterdam at the end of the 19th century to have warm water and telephones in each of the rooms, and by 1883 already serviced by electricity. Facing the Queens palace and being situated at the Dam square, the hotel became such a success that Krasnapolski bought 39 small houses in the area to build the hotel as it stands today.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to Amsterdam.
